Matt Junkin Attends the Signing of Pennsylvania HB 1359

Matt Junkin, Vice President, EquiCap Commercial was honored to attend the signing of HB 1359 alongside Governor Shapiro and industry peer Alyssa Quill. Matt represented the Pennsylvania Self Storage Association in his role as Treasurer.

HB 1359 brings important updates to PA’s self storage laws, modernizing the way operators can manage delinquent units and communicate with tenants. The bill helps to streamline processes like lien enforcement and auctions, including the use of online auctions, while also strengthening consumer protections and transparency.
