Jared Houck | Director

Jared Houck joined EquiCap Commercial as a Director in March 2026, bringing proven experience in self-storage brokerage and a reputation for putting clients first. Since beginning his career in commercial real estate in 2022, he has specialized in the self-storage sector, advising owners and investors throughout the Northeast.

Jared works closely with property owners and investors to maximize asset value and identify strategic opportunities. Known for his hands-on approach, he regularly meets with owners and tours facilities in person to gain a deep understanding of each property and its market position. By combining hands-on insight with market knowledge and strategic guidance, he helps clients evaluate trends, position assets for sale, and pursue new investment opportunities. Based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Jared’s primary market focus includes Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island and West Virginia..

A proud graduate of Penn State Berks, where he was a member of the men’s basketball team, Jared brings the same teamwork, discipline, and competitive drive from the court into his professional career.

Outside of work, he enjoys following Philadelphia sports, staying active through fitness, and spending quality time with friends and family.
