Anne Blackwell | Partner 

Anne Blackwell brings more than 25 years of experience in the self storage industry, with a background spanning acquisitions, operations, and investment sales. She began her career with Storage USA (now Extra Space Storage), where she served on the acquisitions team before moving into operations, ultimately managing a 15-property portfolio in Memphis, Tennessee.

In 2006, Anne transitioned into brokerage, joining Marcus & Millichap, where she spent 18 years specializing in self storage investment sales throughout Tennessee and the Southeast. During her time there, she closed more than 150 transactions valued at over $500 million while also founding and leading The Williams Storage Group, a team of agents dedicated to providing strategic advisory services and market expertise to storage owners and investors across the region.

Today, as a Partner at EquiCap Commercial, Anne continues to serve self storage owners and investors with a relationship-driven, advisory-focused approach. Known for her deep market knowledge and strategic insight, she helps clients navigate complex decisions and maximize value across every stage of the investment lifecycle.

Beyond brokerage, Anne is an active leader within the Tennessee Self Storage Association and is involved with other state and national industry organizations. She is also a member of CREW Network, Memphis and the Memphis chapter of CCIM.

When she is not working, you’ll often find her on her boat, enjoying the Tennessee River.
