Anne Blackwell has dedicated more than 24 years to the self-storage industry, excelling in acquisitions, operations, and investment sales. She began her career at Storage USA (now Extra Space Storage), first on the Acquisitions Team and later in Operations, where she managed a 15-property portfolio in Memphis, Tennessee.

 

In 2006, Anne transitioned to brokerage, joining Marcus & Millichap, where she spent 18 years specializing in self-storage investment sales in Tennessee and the Southeast. Over the course of her career, she has brokered more than 150 transactions valued at approximately $500 million and led The Williams Storage Group, a team of agents who provided strategic guidance and market expertise to self-storage owners and investors across the south. 

 

Today, as a Partner at EquiCap Commercial, Anne continues to deliver expert guidance to self-storage owners and investors, leveraging her deep industry knowledge, market insight, and relationship-driven approach. Anne's primary market focus is the southeast and south central-states of Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Georgia. Due to her extensive network of clients, Anne continues to successfully facilitate transactions nationwide for both private and institutional clients.

Beyond brokerage, Anne is an active leader in the Tennessee Self Storage Association and is also involved in the Mississippi, Louisiana, and National Self Storage Associations. Additionally, she is a member of CREW Memphis and the Memphis chapter of CCIM.
